Castle Season 1 Episode 2 Nanny McDead
This chapter of “Castle” surprises with an interesting story and nice twists, being less predictable than the previous one. As the title says, this episode is about a nanny… who is dead, how else? The killer chooses to put an end to Sara’s life in a mind blowing way. Knocked up with a bottle of bleach, she is jammed into a laundry dryer that circles her until a granny discovers the murder and calls the police.
As the investigation begins, it comes to light that everyone has something to hide… The father of the boy that Sara took care of was having an affair, not with the nanny but with a colleague, and was using Sara to keep his lovey dovey escapades secret. She didn’t whitewash him and, in the night of the crime, his wife was taking legal advice on the subject of divorce. Step by step, the team scratches a few suspects from the list.
The inquiry continues with Chloe, Sara’s friend who helped her obtain the job and who also works as a nanny in the same building. When the team seems getting nowhere, some spicy details come out in the wash. “Nanny McDead” has an astounding denouement…
Solving the cases in the old fashioned way, Beckett and Castle make us think back to “Murder, she wrote” and “Monk”.
